For the 2nd Erasmus in Schools activity, we are looking for you! The idea of our Erasmus in Schools activities is to participate in the Dutch (high school) culture, learn something about the Dutch ways of living and to teach Dutch (high school) students about your home country while helping out during some of their activities. If you join this second activity, you get the chance to go to the IMC Weekendschool in Amsterdam, where you will be helping out with workshops provided to orient the high school students on their interests, on what they want to become in the future.

The IMC Weekendschool introduces children aged 10 to 14 from disadvantaged neighbourhoods and often migration backgrounds to the world of work through passionate professionals acting as volunteers. These volunteers introduce students to a wide range of professions and topics, including medicine, law, computer studies, philosophy, astrology and the arts. If you like some more information on the Weekendschool, please visit their website:

On the 5th of November, you will be a volunteer for a day and join the students during the workshops in which they can explore the topics listed above and many more. You will be able to communicate with the high school students. You will not only help them with the workshops but also help them in choosing their interests. Coffee, tea and lunch will be available to you for free!
The exact hours will be announced soon!

To participate in this event, you can fill in this signup form: We will then contact you for a short talk about your motivations. (Please note that if you register for this activity, we count on you to be available)
