ISN is happy to present you with yet another way of getting to know the Dutch! Erasmus in Schools activities are the perfect opportunity to learn about Dutch culture and to share your own!
Together with an ISN board or committee member and your fellow international students, you will visit a high school in Amsterdam, where you will be able to interact with the students and talk about your culture, country and cultural differences that you have come across so far. You can be an inspiration to the students, who most often haven't seen as much of the world as you have.
For this specific activity we are looking for German students who would like to be part of a "language village" at the Pieter Nieuwland school in Amsterdam. You will sit with a Dutch student and practice their German, basically you are a teacher for the day! You even get to grade them! This "language village" is organised by the school and will take place the 22nd and 23rd of March from 9AM to 4-5PM.
BUT no worries, you don't need to be there both days, you do not even have to join for a complete day. One class takes about 2,5 hours. It's a great way to experience what high school is like in the Netherlands!
