Are you going to study in Amsterdam and do you want to learn some basic Dutch?

ISN Amsterdam is going to help you by offering a six or twelve weeks course starting in the third week of February! You will learn how to introduce yourself, how to ask for directions when Google Maps let's you down and also very important how to order a beer in a Dutch bar and lots more of course!

The 6 weeks course takes place once a week on a Monday or on a Thursday from 5.30 PM till 7 PM. The 12 weeks course takes place once a week on a Wednesday. The location of the classes is Muiderstraat. The six weeks course will cost only 60 euros!! This is including a syllabus, which will be given to you the first day of the course. In this course, you will really learn the basics and be able to say some stuff in Dutch! The 12 weeks course, which is only 150 euros, includes a book called 'Nederlands in Gang' worth 39,95 euros. When you finish this course, you'll have (around) level A1. However, by that time you're only halfway through the book, meaning you'll have level A2 when you finish the book.

As for all ISN activities, you will need an ISNcard to be able to subscribe for the course!

- for international students of the UvA or the HvA who have an ISNcard


Come to the ISN office to get your tickets for the Dutch Course and to get your ISNcard (5 euros) if you don't have one yet!
